When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is possible from 15:00, check-out must take place by 9:00.
Are there any additional fees charged on site?
Yes, tourist taxes are charged on site (for people over 15 years). They are not included in the price of rooms and apartments and are paid separately. The price is 5 € per person per night.
Is it possible to pay by card on site?
Yes, at Garni Stefani we accept (preferably) credit card payments.
Do we have to pay a deposit equal to the total accommodation price before arrival?
Yes, after the booking is confirmed you will receive an email with information about the deposit, which in most cases is 50 % of the total price. The booking is fully valid only once the deposit reaches our bank account.
The accommodation can be canceled free of charge up to 1 month before arrival in the winter, and free of charge up to 14 days before arrival in the summer. The deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is canceled less than one month/14 days before arrival.
Do we offer summer cards for accommodation?
As part of your accommodation fee, we will issue you a Guest Card, which offers discounts on public transportation and select activities. You can also purchase a Sommer Card at the guesthouse, which provides additional benefits for long-term stays in the Ötztal Valley.
Is there free parking in front of the building?
Yes, free parking is available for guests.
What is the bed capacity at Garni Stefani?
In summer the capacity is 19 standard beds. In winter the capacity is 21 beds and 2 extra beds.
Does the accommodation offer breakfast?
Yes, we serve a buffet-style breakfast only during the summer season in the breakfast room. During the winter season, you can order breakfast to be delivered directly to your room. The price of breakfast per person is 15 €.
