House rules

Dear guests,

welcome to our guesthouse. Allow us to acquaint you with the rules of operation.

Upon arrival, the guest presents to the relevant member of the reception staff their valid identity card or passport, or another valid identity document. After the details have been recorded, the guest is handed the room key and accommodated.

The guesthouse is liable without limitation for jewellery, money and other valuables only if these items were taken into safekeeping by the guesthouse (the safe is located in the reception office) or if the damage to them was caused by an act of a member of the guesthouse staff. The right to compensation for damage must be claimed at the guesthouse without undue delay, on the day on which the injured party became aware of the damage. The guesthouse is liable for damage to items left on the premises only if the items were handed over to one of the guesthouse staff for safekeeping for that purpose.

If the guest requests an extension of their stay, the guesthouse may offer them a room other than the one in which they were originally accommodated. The guest uses the room for the agreed period. If the length of stay was not agreed in advance, the guest ends their stay no later than 09.00 on the last day and is obliged to vacate the room by that time. If they fail to do so, the guesthouse is entitled to charge them for another day’s stay. In the event that the guesthouse has already reserved this room in advance and the guest does not heed the request or is not present at the guesthouse, the guesthouse reserves the right, in the presence of a two-member committee, to list the guest’s belongings and store them in a safe place so that the room can be cleaned and used by the guest who reserved it.

In the room and on the premises of the guesthouse, the guest must not, without the consent of the guesthouse management, move the furnishings or carry out any interventions in the electrical network or other installations.

In the guesthouse, and especially in the room, the guest is not permitted to use their own electrical appliances; this does not apply to electrical appliances serving the guest’s personal hygiene (shavers, possibly massage devices, hair dryers and the like).

Receiving visitors in guests’ rooms is prohibited; the reception or the guesthouse restaurant are available for this purpose.

Furthermore, on the premises designated for accommodation, the guest must not:

  • carry weapons, ammunition or explosives, or otherwise keep them in a state allowing their immediate use
  • hold, manufacture or keep narcotic or psychotropic substances or poisons, unless they are medicines whose use has been prescribed to the guest by a doctor;
  • smoke; this does not apply in the case of areas designated for smoking and visibly marked with the appropriate symbol;
  • use an open flame

In the event of a guest’s illness or injury, the guesthouse will arrange for the provision of medical assistance, or transport to hospital.

When leaving the room, the guest is obliged to close the water taps, switch off all appliances using the electrical network, turn off the lights, and close the door and windows of the room.

For safety reasons, it is not advisable to leave children under 10 years of age without adult supervision in the room and other areas of the guesthouse.

For accommodation and other services provided, the guest is obliged to pay the prices in accordance with the valid price list on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed in advance, but at the latest for a period of 7 consecutive days. The bill is payable upon presentation. An invoice can be issued on request.

Breakfast is served from 07.00 to 08.30, with an earlier or later breakfast possible by arrangement with the staff.

All rooms are non-smoking, so please do not smoke in them. Smoking is only possible in the designated areas provided for this purpose.

The rooms are furnished to a standard in accordance with the classification of accommodation facilities. If you would like an extra pillow, towel or bath towel, please contact the staff.

The radiators in the rooms are fitted with thermostatic valves, so it is possible to regulate the room temperature according to your wishes.

Out of consideration for other guests and for individual rest, please observe quiet hours from 22.00 to 06.00.

We will be happy to provide you with information about the surroundings and local points of interest.
